The brief for this project was to remove an existing sun room and create a contemporary extension across the back of this modern house. The extension is to house a new dining area and living space suitable for entertaining and will be opened up to the kitchen and existing TV room. The design features a contemporary flat roof with overhang providing sun shading and cover from rain. Large sliding doors, bi-fold doors and windows connect the space to the garden with an extended terrace opening out from the living space with an aluminium pergola above. Vertical timber cladding is used alongside the aluminium to give a clean contemporary look.
